Hot Dog Cart News reader Jamie Hunter emailed me these pictures – and I when I looked at them I just about dropped my mouse.

And yes, it was built from my E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart Plans. Get yours by clicking here.

*Before you go charging off to look at the stunning photos below, I have a truly special (and free) offer for you at the end of this article. Believe me – you just can’t afford to miss out on this.

Jamie writes:

Hi Steve,

I had been joking with friends for the last 15 years that I was going to start a hot dog cart business but never acted on it.

I own an insurance agency and was getting burned out with working indoors and dealing with that industry. I need to be outside joking with people and serving one of America’s favorite comfort foods.

I looked online one day to see what it would take to get started and I bought your Hot Dog Biz 101 program. You really have done a great job with your program. You walk through every step and explain everything in a way that makes it almost impossible to fail.

I listen to the Carts of Cash CDs from your Hot Dog Biz 101 Course over and over to keep me motivated. My son says, “Not again” every time he gets in my truck.

I’m going to use your Cash Tracker book keeping program. It looks like it will make things simple.

I also have your E-Z Built Hot Dog Cart Video and Plans Package which I used to build the cart you see here. It is also done well.

I laughed with you on those funny parts in the E-Z Built DVDs. It made me feel like we were building the cart together. I know I paid for the program, but I feel like I had a friend helping every step of the way.

The signs on the cart are removable. I had banners made up and put snaps on the cart and the banners. I take the banners off when I am traveling and snap them on when I set up. I designed the banners and my menu board that lists all of my different hot dogs.

I took your advice and used the same design for everything – banners, menu board, business cards, flyers, etc. I found a program online that I used to design everything and had a sign printer make them up for me.

I’ll send you a picture of my menu board it came out really nice.

I am so glad to be going after my goal. It has injected that spice for life into me.

Thank you so much for your help,

Jamie Hunter

@Jamie: wonderful, wonderful execution and construction! Stretching the design appears to have worked very well; any practical problems standing at the steam table and having the fender in your way?
I am only a year into my “cart” obsession–hopefully will be up and running this Spring.

Hey, Steve, any chance of getting Jamie’s secrets if we have already purchased the videos and plans? My county says code is all metal, so I have been trying to figure out the best way to comply without being a metal engineer.

Wow! Jamie, Nice looking cart! I felt the same way when I built my cart. It was as if I had a new friend (Steve) was right there with me and we were building it together. This business has really helped me through some tough times and I owe it all to Steve,
