Hi Steve
Well it’s just about done, all there is to finishing my hotdog cart is waiting on my signage. I’m calling my new retirement job the “Checkers, Street Grill”. I still can’t believe how easy your instructions were to follow and then borrowing a few ideas from some of the other hotdoggers that have bought your course. A lot of my flying buds can’t believe I really built this Baby! I’m taking it to the field as soon as I get her inspected and try out a few different dogs on those guys, a taste testing you might say. I’m going to have some fun!,and make a little money while I’m doing it!!! Looking forward to everyone’s reaction to this little gal.
Lee Vestal
They just keep getting better and better! Absolutely unreal Lee… I wish you the best of luck!

Lee, what a great looking cart! I love every thing that you did with it. The shelving with the sliding doors is very practical, and the built in grill looks great. Nice paint job too! You must be very proud to have created such a beautiful looking cart. Thanks to Steve anyone who has the desire can create a beautiful and practical money making cart. Best of luck!

Lee–
Excellent cart! Truly! One of the best I’ve seen! I can say this because it’s very much like the one I just built. haha. Looks like we’re all evolving these plans in similar great directions.
I’m just awaiting my water heater, then she’s all done and I’ll post pics here. Mine took about a month and a half to build after normal daily work hours. How long did yours take to put together?
Best of luck to your my friend! And contact me if you want to network or just chat.

Lee,
Talk about impressive ! This cart has to be one of my favorites hands down bar none. That’s the great thing about this site, everyone is so supportive and willing to lend ideas. It really is like one gigantic family. I will be loosing my job at the end of April and have been wanting soooo badly to take this leap. It’s hard to do when your income that you have is needed for the next few months of economic hardship in addition to all you ever get is negative feedback on how this will fail.
I wish you nothing but the best in your venture, please keep us informed. May your business succeed when all other don’t believe it will.

Chris,
Welcome to the wonderful world of entrepreneurship.
Most folks secretly want to do what we do, but they never leave the safety of their couch.
Those who cast doubt on our plans are usually just projecting their own insecurities. We make them extremely uncomfortable by doing what they are afraid to do.
The truth is this is not risky at all. It’s a proven business model that has been around for 100 years.
Don’t listen to the doom and gloom crowd, they’ll only bring you down.
Just get out there and make it happen. You can do this.

Chris,
Let me tell you a little story…I was exactly in your shoes last September. I always wanted to do this but was not willing to shell out 5K for a new cart.
People said I doomed to failure with this. So, I set out to proved them…all of them wrong. I got Steve’s video’s and plans and built my own. 2 weeks ago I debuted the cart in South Dakota and sold 70 dogs with no advertising. I’ve had it out 6 times since and never sold less than 70. I’m building from it and having fun. Go for it! We’ll encourage you along the way.

Lee,
Awesome cart, I love how you modified Steve’s plan and created a true masterpiece! I am lining up some gigs now and have been selling on Saturdays now since late December. I’m so thankful that the weather is getting better so hopefully more people will come out to the farmers market. Anyway, I’ve sent Steve some pictures of my cart and although its not as fancy as yours, I’m very proud of my little red wienie wagon! Hopefully someday my cart will be featured on Steve’s hot dog cart news site! Congratulations once again on a beautiful cart and here’s wishing you much success!
