I’m in Milwaukee, but can do your event for 350 people which would include dogs/chips/pop type value meal for about $2.50 each, a huge discount… Use quality Usingers, Johnsonville & Hebrew National product… Capable of Steam/Boil/Grill and offer variable toppings… Not sure of single day licensing in your area, but am willing to work it out…

To Mike- I set up a couple days a week(rent free)at my local Dollar General. Nonstop flow of shoppers in a hurry all day long & whats the best thing to eat when yer in a hurry?

Keep track of those great spots everyone keeps telling you about, The great thing about this business is if one spot is not producing you can move. It would cost a Mc Donalds or Pizza Hut millions $$$ to do the same thing. This business is a blast and you will do great.

I get my buns at Costco, I buy Franz. They run about $2.75 for 24 buns or about .11 cents.

into the second week of doggin’, doin OK so far but needing some input. I’m using B & B poppyseed buns, look fabulous, taste great, hold a dog well BUT they’re 29 cents apiece(ouch). What are y’all using? Trying to lower my cost & appreciate some feedback.

If Your Going To Soar,,You Have To Flap Your Wings.

Everyone has high hopes of really making a nice living in the Hot Dog business, I for one believe their is so much potential in this industry for someone with a little bit of business savvy and a creative mind can accomplish anything they want. I swear I have A.D.D. because my mind is consistently coming up with wacky ideas to help my business. I incorporated this one and it’s been going great and it’s fun.

I not only serve an all beef dog, a Sausage, but I also target the healthy community with a nice plump Turkey dog. It taste great and to be honest it’s less damage on my love handles. So I run this combo on my cart that consist of 2 Turkey dogs and a Free drink for $6. I call it the “GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GULP!” the fun part is if someone wants it they have to flap their arms and say “GOBBLE, GOBBLE, GULP PLEASE” It is so FUNNY to see grown adults flapping up a storm like a big ole Tom Turkey just to get their Hot Dog fix… I love what I do,,,If you can’t smile at work,,,Why Go..
