My business plan--which I've carefully thought about for years now--calls for creating an "old fashioned" theme--not only in the appearance of my cart, but also in my personal appearance. I plan on wearing one of those thin, flat-top straw hats (called a "skimmer" or "Katie") that they used to wear back in the 1920's. I'll also wear a bow tie (to match the band on the hat) and a long white butcher's apron. I also have a clever name for my business to tie in with the theme, but I'm not prepared to reveal it now as it hasn't been registered yet!

If people take the time to think about it they can come up with all kinds of cool ideas! Another idea I thought about was to create a nautical theme, wear one of those 18th century tri-corn hats, and call the business, "Hot Dogs of the Caribbean" (and use the same font as the movie for signs). With the latest interest and fad in all things "pirate," kids (who are big consumers of hot dogs, of course) would get a kick out of it!
