    Ken,

Would you rip up your Stock Portfolio? Would you make an early Cash in on Your IRA? Why get rid of your Retirement plan? If you only used your Cart once and sold 600 Hot Dogs, that is better interest on an investment than the Boys at Goldman Sachs could do for Warren Buffet. It was L.I.F.E calling you to make your own way because the J.O.B. let you down. You Cannot count your Chickens before they hatch if you destroy the Eggs. WANT AD: Baby and Bathwater for Sale. All ready thrown out, only $1950.00—-Go to Part-Time or Hire a Guy –SELL a BUSINESS not the Equipment…..Do what you gotta do But, the above is a good argument incase there is a third party telling you what to do with your Cart.

wow ken i have to agree with others this is an investment in your future why throw it away think what drove you to buy and operate your own business in the first place hedge your bet my man there is no job security anymore you should already know this go back to work and get the benefits and compensation you’ve earned but remember to cya the company is and always will

  • CindyNo Gravatar

PS,, On the 3 x 6 hot dog cart mentioned above the price is $4,200 with trailer, and $3,800 if you do not need a trailer.
    This is an awesome deal!!
thanks for your interest and look forward to hearing back from you!!! Have a great Day!!!

Wow great looking cart. I live in Cleveland tn. & looking for a nice cart to start business here.

Pocono I was kinda thinking the same thing…it would be a good idea to hang onto it and maybe just do special events for extra cashola…lil extra cash never hurts anyone. But Kens primary job might be extra demanding…never know…but having a hogdog biz safety net is nice to have!

    How many sinks????

    Ken
If you have a spot that can sell several hundred Hot Dogs a day, maybe you should try and sell your cart as a busness with the location. Heck, I might even consider moving if I could sell 600 a day.
    Nice looking Cart. Good Luck.

600 dogs + drinks, chips, natcos can make me about 750-800, you should have cleared close to 500 min. but if new maybe your pricing/cost is off & you only cleared 300 or so, but thats got to be better than a job, & if you were called back that means you were layed off & that can happen again, keep the cart, run it part time, sock away the $ for the next lay off.

Hey Ken………I was given a month off from work last Oct.-Nov. I started my hotdog business at that time. Besides being great therapy for me I made some cash to cover some of my bills. I started off part time, just 1 week day and Sat. and Sun. I was fortunate enough to get called back to work but I realized the potential of this wonderful business and all the great support that this website has to offer. Steve and all of these fine people only have your best interest in mind when they give their advice and experience to share for “Free”. I am currently working my business the same 3 days that I started with and although it is “work”, I am building a future and another stream of income. I will retire in 10 months after 33 years with the same company and now I will earn what I am worth not what the company “THINKS ” what I am worth. Do yourself a favor…….work the hotdog business part time, and keep track of your sales. Your business will be worth way more than what you are asking for just the cart. If you find that the hotdog business is not for you, you can always sell it! But I think you will be suprised! Good luck with your decision.

I have a fulltime job, a parttime job and my Big Dog Cart by Ben’s Carts. I operate myu cart at least two days a week plus special events when I want too. Keep the cart, it will not eat anything, its easy to store and you may get laid off again. We all have 24 hours in a day, use it while you can. I don’t even work on Sunday very often so that give me extra time.
